Expanding S.T.E.M.
There are many different subjects that relate to the S.T.E.M. like news, literacy, civics, citizenship. Imagine a game that had to deal with a health care system of a community that had to deal with getting your own job to support a family. while trying to get your kids to obtain an education. with the money you earn by manageing all your bills, taxes, and income.
Perhaps a game with predictions like they do in the newspapers. lets use football as an example. Two different teams would be againts eachother. Maybe it would be a rival game so the competition is heavy. You could observe the stats of the two teams, and pick who team you think will win. You might have to consider the weather effect and the chance of injurys to key players. That could cause an upset.
Maybe a game that the main goal was to learn the "Bill of Rights". The players could match up the definitions or give an explination of the correct right. Observe the pros and cons of each right, and learn how a right should be used. for example, our second right... the right to bear arms. Yes as americans we are allowed to own a weapon, but that does not mean that they can use it when ever they want to. they have to have a reason to use it, as selfdefence, like if your life was in danger.

Mini Game Project
I compleated the mini game assignment last week. and I learned alot. some of the problems most people had in my class was in the coding of the actionscript. As it be a space where one is not needed or an extra or missing "}". Some of the functions were tricky, but with minor tweeking most of us were able to finish without much strain. Some students are still working on the game but, I plan on helping so i too can learn more and keep more in my memory.

Choosing a topic, what to do...
Math is the topic of choice... math is easy for our group/team to understand, so for our first game we are going to make an interactive game that has to do with giving back the correct change when selling items. So the game is probally going to be about a store, or maybe a restaurant. We havent decided, but we are open for suggestions
